Reading my iPad before sleep. I see one picture in the article, original and colorized.

A group of men pose inside Jim’s Billiards on Davis Avenue in Mobile, 1939. Davis Avenue, ironically named for the one-time president of the Confederacy, Jefferson Davis, was a well-known thoroughfare in the heart of Mobile’s black community. In 1986, the street was renamed Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.

I tried all those things and took screen shots…but the screen shots wouldn’t load to my pics…where I can re-size them.
Are you on a computer?….I’ve been on an IPad for a few years now.

that dumpy place in South Texas with the 3 bar boxes. I could envision the owner on Sunday morning with a mop bucket swabbing the blood off the floor. If you made it home without a major knife wound it was a good night.
Lucky you having a room ten minutes from you.
Are those 9 footers or 7 footers?
If they are 9 footers and set up well then eventually serious players will be coming around.
I'm lucky too.
My room is about 25 minutes from me.
A few 7 foot Diamonds and 8 9 foot Diamonds two of which are dedicated one pocket tables.
If you build it right, they will come.

Deep , if I had a nice place to play that had 4 1/2' x 9' tables I darn sure could careless on the color of them .
