Are there any cheap (under $300) carbon fiber butts on the market yet?

I can't imagine carbon fiber having the warping problems in heat/cold that wood can have right? While I don't keep cues in the car normally for that reason after buying a carbon shaft it got me thinking why not buy a hopefully cheap butt to pair the shaft with and just leave it in the car. By market I mean American market not some alibaba and hope it shows up in a month bs.

Not that price range, but I leave my SVB in the truck full time. Breaks better than any playing cue I've touched. Prefer my Predators, but it works when I don't have my case with me.

Raven has the whole cue for about that much. https://ravencue.com/products/carbon-fiber-3k

I bought a Uniloc QR cheap import cue for $100 on Amazon and matched it up with a $170 Rhino carbon fiber shaft
I did change the tip,$10 Precision.
Bought a cheap. 1x1 from PoolDawg $25.

All In $305
Hits good

Buying a Rhino shaft awhile back is what has me wanting a butt that won't warp to go with it. Anymore I end up leaving my schon at home as the 12.7mm rhino plays just as well on a beat up J&J butt. Figure if I can find a butt that won't warp so I can just leave case n all in the trunk why not.

At one time I was doing on the road sales. I kept one of the early cue tecs in my car trunk. I never had a problem with it. It lived through some pretty extreme temperatures.

a well seasoned wood cue wont warp in a car. my junk cue has spend 60 years in one and still is straight and hits well.
i have others that only have about 30 years in cars without every leaving except to shoot. still straight.

Yep.

I have an old Meucci SP that's been in my trunk for well over 30 years.

Perfectly straight.

Found a supposedly full carbon cue with a uni-lock joint for $120 on amazon. Crown Me brand lol. Of course something straight from china but at least with amazon returns are easy if it's trash.

I've had one of these OKhealing cues for about 2 years. I'm not a fan of the stock tip, but including changing to an Ultraskin, I'm in it for ~$160. It shoots well and is full carbon so no worries about leaving it in the car.

Living in The Desert of Arizona,
Leaving Cue in Car is bad idea.

Unless you want crooked Cue.
I lived in 29 Palms California in the middle of the Mojave desert for 4 years.

No issues there either.

I guess I'm just lucky. 😁

Having said that, I still don't think I would leave a "good" cue in the car though...
