Hey thanks. I have an ACE but it’s a little hike. I did fix the slide wobble .. but lost the screw… but it’s most likely ok. However. I have enough loose screwsI would think any ACE hardware would have that.
I do have one and found lost screws in the grass. The screw I’m looking for is tiny.Depending on how cluttered your shop is, you might try sweeping the floor with a magnet. I've got a magnetic toolbar that I got off HARBOR Freight that I use for that purpose. Saved me a couple of times.

I’ll look locally. If no luck I’ll get back to you. Thanks for your reply … much appreciated. The older versions had a 2-56 x 1/4″ Button Head Screw . It appears they have been switched to a 4-40 x 1/4" socket head cap screw. I and not 100% on it purpose since there is a set screw from the side, probably just to ensure that the dial is used all of the way back but I would replace it and you can probably find it at a decent mom and pop hardware store or a local hobby shop. I do carry these but shipping would cost 50x the price of the screw.
That will be the ones if it is an older version. Not really sure how to tell the cutoff date. You could probably measure the id of the hole and looks at a screw size chart to tellI’ll look locally. If no luck I’ll get back to you. Thanks for your reply … much appreciated.
EDIT: These?
I might buy the another entire assembly from you. Is this the exact replacement? How do I choose the correct eccentric? That will be

42" + .250The easier way to tell is measure the diameter of your pinion gear with calipers - It will be either .220 or .250. Also usually if you have a 10" long gear rack you should have the .220 and if you have the 42" long gear rack it should be the .250. They me be some older exceptions to the rack length but I am not 100% sure
