The ass cam is pretty much standard in Chinese pool. No other reason for it.

OMG, people actually watch this??? Watching pool table cloth grow lint would be more exciting. Just sayin.
They are produced in a small tight town of Askham. River flows through it, beautiful views.

Chinese 9-ball is F lit. I recommend ignoring a large portion of the event and tuning in from the business end. Insanely good pool, and the pace of play isn't that bad.

I couldn't get past the dumbass 3 point rule they were using. The above link match starts at about 1:24. They kept breaking, didn't get 3 points, the opponent appeared to be able to accept the table or get a rerack and they now break. Over and over it went until finally after what seemed like 10 brakes the table was "accepted" and a game was finally played. The ref's butt did get some great exposure time on the asscam so that is a plus.

They're quite 'dynamic' with rule changes, like policy in the Middle Kingdom, so hopefully it works out soon to something a little less time consuming in the future. Till then you have some butts to enjoy lol
