I saw the match and Oscar out played the dude.all the more reason he shouldnt touch the table as he has the expertise to change how the table plays in his favor.
another reason not to touch the table as he wont be able to know what has happened and cannot make an informed deciosn about the changed conditions.
if he did not know or was not simply told exactly what was changed on the table and agreed to it he wasn't beaten fair and square.
Why should anybody play on equipment that is broken?
Merely having equipment meet regulation specs is not favoring anybody.......
One thing that stands out is, Oscar's safety play.
