Cognoscenti laminated cues vs regular Cogs. Same or?

Wondering what everyone’s thoughts are on the laminated cogs vs the regular in hit and playability etc. Just acquired one and haven’t played with it yet and wondering others thoughts, read a couple people’s old replies from some post I seen that they said they was awesome and played as good or better than their others. Just never had one and won’t be able to play with it for a few days to see if I’m happy or selling it . If a cue is still available I’m after I’ll probably sell regardless but hey that’s what we do isn’t it

If you didn't know which was which i think you'd have a hard time telling them apart. I hit a B.Danielson laminated butt cue and it felt like any other butt. Too many other factors that do determine the hit/feel like the tip/taper/material of the shaft. IMO the butt is way down the list on things you can feel in a cue.

For me, the butt gives you feel of the weight and balance
And the size where you grip it if it feels right to you
Everybody knows what size butt they like to feel
