Cte finally explained?

The problem here is when you say cte finally explained when it was not explained at all. Just a short talk on using one point of aim on a system that uses more than 1 to arrive at THE solution for that specific OB position to CB position to pocket location. If you want to sling bead counters then sling bead counters... cte, excuse me, pro one cte, and aiming in general have nothing to do with your product. Hits is what you want imo, and cte is just the right Trojan horse to drop some cliff notes to get a player to click. in pro one you don't stand behind any line other than to just recognize where it's at in relation to the proper perception you choose in a visual manner, not a physical position.

Do you want 60% accuracy or 100%? The way you explain it will not work 100 percent of the time because you're only getting some of the steps, getting lucky essentially...

Now, that being said my gf checked out of the pro one dvd about 30 seconds into the free support video online... these videos this man posted got her at the table knocking balls around. Once she learned from me that what she saw was not all." that's the tip of the iceberg on what pro one can do to your game with an open mind baby." What did she do 15 minutes later? She asked me where my dvd was. Problem is not everyone is going to have that other dude telling them to look deeper and it gets better. Let's face it, cte pro one is the bible for pivot aiming, your video is the picture story bible you give to kids to understand the stories.

What ever..:p

I've spent months and countless hours trying to get CTE from Stan's videos, took a couple lessons from a "certified CTE" teacher. Zip, Nada. I watch Blitzfaces's video and in 17 minutes I get it and am making balls with ease. Why torch the guy, he explained the previously unexplainable :-). Stan takes his version from Hal, Blitzface takes his version from Stan and others. So what?

Mind posting a link to "Blitzface"? I can't find anything with google.

IMHO CTE has a lot. Almost too much. Sure you can parse out a few really good tips/tricks but I honestly think you would have to study it until you basically had a doctorate for the material to be able to fully use it. At that point it would be hard to tell if you were at lost cost fallacy and just wanted to believe so as to have not wasted years.

I bought his book. I watched his videos. I picked out about half a dozen things from the book that was good info worth the price. The rest... not so much, but it's verbose if you like that kind of thing. I picked out things that were useful and left the rest. The rest may have been useful and I was just too dumb to get it, but who knows.

Note: I'm not trying to knock it, it works for some but it's just not something I could do much good with. The few nuggets were nice though.

Dear John,
I have seen multiple video's on CTE on YouTube and learned from Stan, from you and many others. I am addressing my take on CTE and but my aiming style works for me and I have had many viewers who felt they didn't understand CTE and do now. My intention is not to take anything away from Stan and often mentioned him and have let viewer's who are thinking of pursuing CTE ....... should check his website. Appreciate your input and will follow you up on YouTube as always.
Regards,
Howard
Howard Berger - AZ handle Blitzface. His videos are on YouTube under Howard Berger. They are short, well thought out, easy to follow. Watch the more recent ones from the last couple months. Good Luck and have fun with it.
