Some familiar names in that list.

Man, I watched some of the 8-ball side on Saturday. No shot clock is insane. I watched a match around the quarter or semifinals that took like 3 hours.
I've never seen it take that long. Painful. That Troy guy was soooo slow. Commentary was saying next year needs a shot clock.

I'd argue 650+ Fargo players in a race to 5 even going hill-hill should take 60 minutes or less.
They are amateurs. I was trying to give a little grace. I agree with you.
Maybe that guy was a graduate of the Greg Fix institute of special warfare 🤣iykyk

Yeah, the super slow play can be bad and it happens in that tournament. Sometimes watching the replays I find myself fast forwarding through some extensive “studies”. It did seem worse this year. I didn’t stay up to see the 8 ball final - it went to 4:00 AM central or something didn’t it?

I don’t mind more time in the 8 ball because some of the decisions and safety choices are tough. But a full one minute shot clock with three 30 second extensions per game would have sped up some of those matches a lot.

The time it took in some matches to rack 9 ball last night got bad. I think in one game it took 6 minutes to rack. That’s too much.
