does the guy still work? his website is gone, hasn't posted on FB in a while and never replies to messages.I'd recommend calling Mike Gulyassy with a G2 med tip a winning combination !

Wha?????Meucci.
Try giving him a call may work ? Or he may of moved to Thailand sooner that I thought ? If so I wish him well as we lost a darn fine pool cue builder if so !does the guy still work? his website is gone, hasn't posted on FB in a while and never replies to messages.
I replaced my Z2 with a Mezz Sigma Slim. Really liking it after about a year of play. Deflection seems the same but it did take a little getting used to. My Z2 was 10.9mm by the time I retired it.What would be a good wooden replacement for a z2 shaft?
While most of the performance is in the shaft. The butt does contribute quite a lot to the feel and that will affect performance as wellI’ve been thinking about upgrading the shaft on my vintage Viking. The original shaft just doesn’t have the finesse or feedback I’ve felt with other cues, so I was considering either modifying the taper or replacing the shaft altogether.
Now I'm starting to think that money might be better put toward something like a Mezz. The Viking has been one of those cases where I really want to like it, but in my experience it’s just outclassed by other cues I’ve played with. While I agree that the shaft makes the biggest difference in how a cue performs, I suspect a Mezz would have better overall balance, hit feel, and resonance than what I’d get from simply upgrading the Viking’s shaft. To be clear, I'm talking about my vintage Viking, not Viking as a brand.
I'm going to SBE this year, so I'll see if I can try a Mezz and maybe get one there. If it's not what I'm hoping for, I'll look for other options at the exhibit. I'll be sure to stop by the Viking booth to see how their cues have evolved in the 30+ years since my cue was made. Who knows, I might find my forever cue there.
since when is it about what we need?I don't need anything more.![]()
I wish I had this problem, god I wishnone. i still have a half dozen unused ones or so, that top cuemakers long gone made for me to fit my playing cues.
and a couple from living leg
I bought a little plain jane from C&C a few days ago. I absolutely love the way the new Meucci Cues, with their pro shaft, play. I like the tip they install on their tips as well. It has a nice hit/feel. They're super affordable, and they really suit my stroke for whatever reason. I would add that it is nice if you can try a few and pick the one you like (which I was able to do). Some get "fat" in the butt really quick, and some have weird weight distribution in the butt. The little plain jane green one I bought was perfect and tapers out in the butt perfectly. I picked it up and immediately won the first two games I played with it, running balls like I've been using it forever. A TON of bang for the buck in the new Meucci cues.Wha?????
