I am enjoying the Titlist chalk. Really like how well it applies to all tips, including phenolic ones. Definitely different than Taom, or Kamui.

Still not sure I will switch from Taom V10 green, my preferred chalk. It will depend on how long one piece of Titlist chalk lasts. Going to spend that kind of money, I want a piece of chalk to last a very long time.

The Taom V10 green lasts a long time and applies well, though not quite as well on my break cue. The more competition the merrier. Hopefully it reduces prices.

Hard for me to believe it costs more than a few dollars to produce any chalk, but if they were that cheap to produce, you'd expect competition to drive down prices. We'll see. New entrants are coming in all the time.

change few dollars to cents.

of course new entrants will come in as the mark up is huge.

And yet, for years, Kamui was really the only premium chalk. Now you have Taom, DrV, Pagulayan, Predator, Turning Point, Navigator, Molinari, Mezz. Gorst is going to come out with his own.

I had the same issue with my break cue and jump cue regarding the Taom. Actually it was hard to apply any brand of chalk on them. Someone on here suggested to scuff both tips and it helped tremendously! Now the Taom applies with no issue, even on a phenolic tip.

Give it a try.

who would have thunk people would pay 25 bucks for a 50 cent block of chalk.
if only p.t. barnum could be around to see this.

however if this chalk instantly made me shoot as good as svb, i would pay 50 bucks for a cube.

It’s not complicated. Cheap chalk gets all over everything. If I could buy a cheap chalk that didn’t, I’d buy it. None exist.

what do you grind it all over the table and into your hands?

my hands are never blue from master or twetten chalk.

Fedor has his new chalk at the SBE. Green and Grey.

No. I don’t. It still gets on my hands, my clothes, my table and ends up elsewhere. There is a reason so many users of Taom, pro and amateur, talk about how ’clean’ it is. They, and I, aren’t making it up. It’s the ONLY reason I buy it.

I don’t want to spend much on chalk, but there is no comparison between Taom and Masters on cleanliness. None. One cube also lasts a very long time, so I don’t pay much for chalk per year.
