The final was a hard fought battle and could've gone either way. Murphy kept up the pressure that Wu most definately felt and that final break was the bottle he had to not break down and finish . Well done by both

i would say in race to 18 the winner is the better player, period. but i think the match stats said murphy performed better in most of the measured points.

My take on the match was Shaun had better cueball control. The youngster could make shots from anywhere.

The changing of the guard has come and the current pros are vulnerable to defeat. They're up against young talent that have little fear,break build and once seasoned are gonna be hard to beat.

Wu has CB control and his firepower is a bonus. His century breaks are pretty controlled.

it seems chinese 8-ball is dominating in china nowadays. the good chinese players move to yorkshire in UK, along with the thai and other foreign players. there are two academies there and they seem to have a good thing cooking - iron sharpens iron
