The best looking predator cue I’ve seen in a while and honestly exactly what I’m looking for but I can’t do 3k for a production predator. I just can’t.

Yeah, agreed. I've had some really good luck with Predator cues, they're fine playing cues from a modern performance perspective, but they are not worth the $3k asking price on these or the new Blak series IMO.

I was going to drop about that on the most recent Panthera drop, knowing those were built in the US just a couple hours away from me at Jacoby helped a lot in making that feel somewhat reasonable. But for what I assume are imported cues....I just couldn't do it for one of these.

They do look nice though, definitely a nice design from Predator. At $2k I could maybe see it.

I currently play with a Jacoby Heritage L1 w/Black v4 shaft....$950 for a US made cue with some pretty wood and a nice carbon shaft. Now that was a good deal!

nice looking cues, price is crazy for a production cue.
For a third of the price you can get a similar Universal cue and add $500 for the Revo

Predator does market some fine production cues but I agree with y'all, they're about twice the price they should be.
That said, if it wasn't for this extra profit-making by Predator, the game/sport of professional pool (which trickles down to the amateur scene) wouldn't be in even close to the popularity and expansion rate it is now. Predator puts their profits back into the sport.
Predator is growing/promoting the sport of billiards by far faster than any other billiard sponsor, and by miles.
So like their products or hate them, they definitely know how to market the game/sport we all love.
For all you Predator haters, the numbers don't lie. Enjoy the billiard revolution. Smile!

predator people are becoming like apple/iphone people anno 2015.. that price is a joke for a production cue
You’re not wrong but people will pay for it and as they say if people are willing to pay it’s the not the wrong price I guess
That's a very simple looking cue for 3k

You could get 2 very nice Jacobies or Josses for that price
what if you think both those cues play like $hit 😂

they market their products exactly the way golf does. It works well for golf and it is for them. Lol I don’t know why people have a problem with them making different color break cues? People seem to bitch about that in the internet all the time. People like different colors why not give them what they want. Do I think it’s crazy that somone is willing to pay $1600 for an $800 break cue on the resale market because it’s purple. Yup. But cues are only worth what someone is willing to pay and if they are willing to pay for it then that’s what you charge. I’m not paying it thats for sure lo;

To bad it doesn’t come in a uni lock shaft

Yikes, uni-loc? Radial pins for the win. There's a reason why so many high-end and custom cue makers use radial joints. Much better fit and "one-piece" feel (hit) than uni-loc has.
Ever notice when Predator themselves come out with limited edition and high-end stuff? Most is radial pinned.
I actually believe that Predator is hurting their own sales by not going exclusively to radial. I know many people who won't buy their products if it has the inferior uni-loc joint, which most of it does.
I finally picked up a Predator butt to go with my Revo, only because it was limited a had a radial joint. Hits like a dream!

I’m fine with uni lock.. plays great to me but to each his own I guess. I’m just buying another shaft so I can play with that cue.

I am on "team radial" too. I once reached out to Predator asking if they were going to make a P3 with radial. They said never again.

It’s radial, just like the Predator
The predator cue says right in the description it’s uni lock.. and all my predator shafts are unilock. So If I bought that cue you showed I would have to also spend $500 on a radial shaft.

Edit to add looking at the picture it shows a radial .. I think in the description they meant to add radial or uni lock? Either way all my predator shafts are uni lock so that would make it more expensive to buy that other cue which by the way is a good look piece

I was responding to the quoted comment.

Great looking cue line, expensive as hell.

Back to regular programming.

Radial and uni-loc were both developed by the same guy for Predator.
You have Uni-Loc Quick Release and Uni-Loc Radial
