Where to get a muecci refinished?

Have had a dozen at least refinished at Meucci. They a do a good job and pricing is good. However Proficient is hands down the best refinish work i have had done. Over the years i have had cues refinished at over a dozen different places and as i stated no comparison.

With a Meucci you're probably better off restarting instead, right? Just kidding, I have two and really like both of them. As to where to take it, I'm with the others on here - Proficient.

There have been too many recent horror stories about repair work and quality at Meucci for me to trust them with anything. And that's coming from someone who has always had a soft spot in his heart for the brand. I was around for the 80's and 90's glory days and I hope they're able to turn things around and get back to that.

I've had Proficient do refinish work for me and the quality, turnaround time, and communication are second to none. They're as legit as they come.

My brother had his 95-11 refinished at Meucci last Summer. Took about ~6 weeks, and the finished product is quality. Price is good too at $125 to refinish a butt & shaft. They have recently initiated a waitlist with an 8 week lead-time. I've had my 95-13 in the que for 5 weeks, so we will see.

My father has an old 97-12 with a nick on the butt and a few nicks. He’s curious about getting it refinished. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
Ryan Theewen AZB’s (RATCues) did mine. Super job. Ryan was the main repair mechanic at Meuller’s Sporting Goods for decades. He worked on a zillion Meuccis.

Scott Sherbine (Proficient) and Scott Erwin are two names that come up for vintage Meucci refurbs.
