Not so sure about that.
I've run across guys, machinists, playing around in their spare time that have come up with some seriously off the wall game changers, but really don't give a rat's ass about marketing them. They did it for their own satisfaction. And prolly wouldn't let it be known anyway. You'd have to dig.

I know Becue works for me, I don't have a reason to change, not against anybody else's, why change when you love the cue you already own?
