Note -- On Day 1, the stream started a few minutes late, as Gorst was shooting the 2-ball in Game 1. He ran out from there. From another source, I know that Gorst won the lag and broke in Game 1, so I imagine the game was a B&R, starting with Gorst making the 1-ball on the break. That's how I counted it for the stats.

Thank you @AtLarge !!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

First shot after the break

Van Boening
• On successful breaks -- SVB was successful on 22 of his 30 (73%) breaks. Two of those were 9-balls on the break. On the other 20, he took an offensive shot 10 times (50%), pushed out 8 times, and played safe 2 times.
• On Gorst's 3 unsuccessful breaks, SVB played an offensive shot all 3 times.
• So on the 23 times SVB had the first shot after the break, he played an offensive shot 13 times (57%), pushed 8 times (35%), and played safe 2 (9%) times.
Gorst
• On successful breaks -- Gorst was successful on 47 of his 50 (94%) breaks. He took an offensive shot 32 times (68%), pushed out 7 times, and played safe 8 times.
• On SVB's 8 unsuccessful breaks, Gorst played an offensive shot 4 times, pushed once, and played safe 3 times.
• So on the 55 times Gorst had the first shot after the break, he played an offensive shot 36 times (65%), pushed 8 times (15%), and played safe 11 (20%) times.
So Fedor was not only better at making balls on the break, but the layouts left offensive shots more often.
[Note: there is a bit of subjectivity on some shots as to whether it was offensive, defensive, or a two-way.]
Push Outs
• Each player pushed out 8 times.
• Each player had 4 game wins and 4 losses after their pushes.
• Gorst returned 5 of SVB's 8 pushes. SVB won 3 of those 5 games.
• SVB returned 6 of Gorst's 8 pushes. Gorst won 2 of those 6 games.
• Gorst played jump shots 4 times (once on an SVB push, 3 times on his own returned push). He pocked a ball on 1 of the 4 jump shots (the one after an SVB push).
