Is there anyone here who might be able to help with thoughts, or info about Shark, or O'Min Snooker cues?

Please forgive me for asking in the main forum. I see there is a Snooker section on here, but I am not sure how busy that section is.

Anyways, I am curious if anyone here might know any info about these cues.

There is a 10 foot snooker table here in town, so I thought it would be cool to get a snooker cue, just so I could try the game out.

Anyways, does anyone here know if these cues are garbage, or decent quality, or what? I know it is a long shot, asking on a pool forum, lol, but thought it would be worth a try.

I grabbed these cues on a whim, because I thought the Shark cue looked interesting, and because they come with a case. And, because the price was fairly cheap, for the set, I thought. Might have been a dumb decision though, because I know nothing about snooker cues, lol.

Anywats, thanks for any thoughts, if you happen to be an enthusiast, and know much about Snooker cues.

I am thinking that these cues might be from Thailand, but I am not sure.

If you already got them. then it doesn't really matter...
You don't have to have a snooker cue to try the game, you can use your pool cue, especially if you have a small diameter tip, like 12mm or under. I know a guy here that owns a pool room that plays snooker on a 12ft tables with his Mezz and ignite shaft (12.2mm) and doing very well... you can watch him here running 73 points on a 12ft with his Mezz

As for the cues, I don't know the Shark brand.
There is the original Omin from Thailand, they make good snooker cues. And there is the Chinese Omin that make mediocre cues at best. hard to see from your images where the Omin cue is from but if it was cheap then I guess it's a Chinese Omin

I believe the Shark cues were made in China but have since closed down.

O'Min from China makes pool cues, not Snooker cues. I believe that it a completely different O'Min, but I thought they looked nice, on the Seyberts website.

Okay, I understand. I just read that there was going to be a joint venture with a Chinese cue maker, and then the Chinese stole the name from the owner of the Thai cue company. So, sounds like the name is being used without authorization from the owner, from Thailand. Interesting.

Is your Shark snooker cue related to the one-piece pool cue stick with a logo of a blue shark with a cue stick?
