this is accurate, and it is easy, had to tap my revo to fit my Carmeli cuesI’m not familiar with the shaft you mention but a reoccurring issue with 3/8x10 shafts is the inner diameter. Typical fix is just a tap. However, that’s easier said than done for most of us.

3/8-10 shaft thread and 3/8-10 mod pin. Shouldn’t need to be tapped, just bore out the threads to fit the inner diameter of the pin.
I’d also confirm the shaft is really a 3/8-10 if you haven’t already.

No a tap cuts the threads. The threads are already 3/8-10. The minor diameter needs to be bored out on a lathe to match the pin.
Just do this, I did it with just a tap and my hands; no pliers, no lathe. Did this years ago and have not had an issueyou need to tap it and it's pretty easy to do.
Just buy the tap and screw it in, use a locking pliers to grip the tap.
screw it in and out a few times and let all the debris out and you're good to go.
A boring bar goes in as the cue spins and only removes the inner part of the thread.So what do you use to bore out the threads on a lathe? I was assuming one would do that with a tap, but apparently not.
