I got extra for anyone else that needs some.
 
If it's for your personal pool table, I would recommend the V10 as it makes clean up SO much easier. I don't miss cleaning up the piles of masters chalk off the table, floors, and entire room.
 
I'm using V10 for the same reason. I notice far less residue left on the cue ball, table, shaft of the cue, etc. I have always used Masters but I bought several trying to see what was the cleanest when I got my table and the V10 seemed to be the best for that anyway.

The consensus seems to be that most/all chalks perform well on tips when shooting, but premium chalks are much cleaner than cheaper ones. I get little or no mess on my hands or clothes.

I use Taom V10, but I've also used and liked Pagulayan, Titlist, Kamui Roku. Among cheaper chalks I like Magic.
 
Just because: My preference is V10 or Pagulayan due to the cleanliness of the table. It is considerably cleaner than Masters.

I haven't tried the Ghost chalk yet.
 
Pagulayan or TAOM V10 and maybe some boxes of Blue Diamond for people who don’t know how to properly chalk.
It is not equivalent to TAOM but is very clean chalk I played for years before switching chalk brands. A few pieces of
TAOM will set you back a lot more than several boxes of Blue Diamond. Keep the TAOM on hand for better players.

Agreed on using a holder personally, but I thought the OP was asking for pool room chalk not individual. Dr V's clip is strong for sure. Not a fan of the chalk holder myself.

I wasn't aware of the other thread. Thanks! It helps narrow the issues (and I kinda wish it was mentioned!)

If it's a personal room, just use Taom, Pag, Ghost, Pure, or the host of other new chalks. They are all cleaner and have less kicks.

All you need is MASTER GREEN, and your in procession of UTOPIA CHALK.

Do not believe e CHALK HYPE, and if your hearing who is making money spreading BULLS**T like a Farmer?
 
you might want to use that master chalk you used all your playing life when you were about the best in the world.

it worked for you then and still does.
