Billiards on ESPN today !!!!!!!

I'm behind a bit as we taped it so I could ff through commercials. Still good though. Great to see on tv, we can only hope.
You'll be watching the last several racks on YouTube then, because they ran over time and went to a football game. Pool moved to ESPN 2. There will be plenty of highlight videos on YouTube though.

What a great finish of the US 9 ball championship ESPN missed, just caught it on YouTube, I think a sport that has been around for hundreds of years would get a little more respect

Great exposure for this event to finally get back on ESPN. Disappointing, to say the least, that they would cut off a live event after people watched through 3 hours of commercials after every rack!

Somebody at ESPN and the pool world screwed up by thinking that you could run so many commercials between racks and do a race to 13 with top pros where it could easily go 20-25 racks all in 3 hours!

Will watch the end today on u tube- but the lack of respect for their audience and The game of Pool was clear - seriously - we don’t have enough football coming over the next 4 months??

None of my post will help, but major sports like tennis and golf will switch to continued coverage on a different channel. It happens often on weekends. Often it happens because of live telecast time constraints. I assume that ESPN made an announcement of some sort that said that continued coverage will be on something or something something channel (ESPNU apparently)

Yup, this happens all the time.

for most streaming services there are no commercials at all.. that's why people are moving away from cable/broadcast tv

Watching on direct TV, they tried to make an announcement, but never finished the sentence before it switched. Got cur off right after they said we will be switching to_____. For me it wouldn't have done any good anyway as we taped it with an extension, but we were about 2 hrs behind, and while I figured they would go to one of their other channels, it was too late. Was nice to see on TV again, but there was too much pre match. Great crowd also.
