Name your favorite restaurant or non pool hall with a pool table

Inspired by the hotel with a pool table thread, Do you have a favorite restaurant that has a cool billiard table that is sort of unknown?

One of my favorites is the Elevator in downtown Columbus, OH. Most people probably don’t know they have tables. The building opened in 1897 as Bott’s Billiards. I am not certain if the tables are original from Bott’s but they were over 100 years old when I lived in the area 20 years ago. It’s a really cool place overall.

Basically, any bar with a bar box will fit this description (as it is a non pool hall), especially if they also serve food...

Do you have a favorite one?I was asking about a unique place that has an interesting pool vibe where it isn’t the main part of their business.

Another example is The Great Dane Brewery on the capital square in Madison, WI. Most probably know about the Brass Ring there as well that would be worth a mention.

Used to be Sandy's Tavern in south Minneapolis. They had a valley bar box, and great food. Peak dive bar. They no longer have a table, but it's worth noting for the nostalgia.

My grandmother (1924-2024) lived in an apartment building across the street. As a kid I'd spend weekends with her and this lil 4'9" woman would walk my ass into the ground around MSP. Museums, shops, orchestra hall, etc. We'd usually end up at Sandy's for dinner at least once each weekend. She'd give me quarters to play pool. Wasn't until college that I realized why she always had quarters. She gave me her laundry money to put in the pool table. I have that wonderful woman to thank for so much.

When I first held a cue as a kid I got into it pretty quickly and discovered about a mile away from my house at Godfather's Pizza they had a couple 8' bar boxes. Well, I spent a lot of time there. Ate some good pizza and even messed around with the owner's daughter a little bit too haha. Good times

I've never hit a ball anywhere but in a poolhall or a bar. I did play in a KMOD tournament in Tulsa at the IPE building at the fairgrounds. Other that its been ph's or bars.

I got my start at an arcade called Jolly Jester in the mall in Danville, IL. It had two Valley tables with red cloth and had a wall completely covered by a mirror. I went looking for a picture online but none were found. It was the place to be on Friday and Saturday night. Both tables were challenge tables and were typically full of quarters. The place would be packed until close at 9:00 p.m. I love going there to play. I did find this discussion online.
