So how does predator fit in all this? I went with the ikon 3-5 with the 314 3 shaft, how will it play compared to my mcdermott G502 with a G core shaft?

I haven't purchased the revo shaft yet. I'm going to play with the 314 3 that it comes with for a couple months and see how I like that shaft first.

Ive only really played with mcdermott cues and I own a joss break cue. Ive never shot with any other cue then these 2. I pulled the trigger and bought the predator ikon 3-5. Will I be able to tell the difference in the hit and feel from a mcdermott or does predator and mcdermott have fairly the...

Oh yeah and I forgot to mention is that I shoot with a high end mcdermott but don't really like the hit of it, too soft for my liking. Will any of these cues mentioned above hit much stiffer then a mcdermott?

My first cue is the Mcdermott g-508 but looking to get something a little better in the future so im asking as much questions as i can. will spend up to $5,000 on a custom cue in the future. Not really looking to spend anything more then that though.
