I've never had my G2's mushroom, and I often break with my play cue, (Revo 12.4). Just put them on and have fun. Almost no maintenance other than the occasional scuffing.

G2 medium.

My favorite. Have been using G2 Medium since they first came out. Intermittently try others but always come back to the G2. Never had any problem with mushrooming and they last a long time.
