Nothing special here. Just a 43 ball run, but I did it after the leather pockets were installed, so that is different. I like it. Much smoother. Hangs over, but more importantly the cue glides over the pocket. Made my shots using the pocket as a bridge.

112. Finally my 2nd 100 ball run. No video this time though, because it was late. Ran into the break ball on my last shot, leaving some jacked up, over the rack, very difficult shot in the far corner.

Has anyone switched out the pockets for a Gold Crown I, where the pockets are smoother for the cue shaft? I got rid of the original pockets that left black residue, but the newer rubber ones still grip. I was wondering if there was a leather, etc alternative that someone came up with? Thanks...

Yeah, you didn't look like you made up your mind. Consider all your options. From what I could see, I think I like the 5 ball better, but I am not a fan of side pocket shots. Keep at it.

I wouldn't say perfect, but not bad. I have a Gold Crown I with 4.75 pockets. Plays great. Just like the idea of 1 slate and flush pockets and a ball return, but if I can't get the specs I want, will just stick with what I have. I have run 113 balls, so not bad at the game
