I'm also not up to date with the younger American players, but I have no issue with one of them being on the team, even if they haven't "earned a spot" There's no upside to selecting the same players over and over again. What I would do if I were MR, is make the wildcard pick (for both teams)...

I'm looking at the # of matches won by season. The 23-24 season had zero Chinese players in the top 10. The 24-25 season had two in the top 10, and the 25-26 season has four Chinese players in the top 10. Including the 1st and 2nd spots.
