They've been loud for both sides. Probably more when an American is shooting, but it's not like they're quiet every single time a Euro is shooting.
Regardless, it's the fucking MC. One time per year. This doesn't happen at any other events and it never will.
A good coach can prevent it from spiraling and getting out of control. It's obvious we're outclassed in the mental game and overall decision making. Two areas a good coach could come in handy.
Small tables/big pockets and handicap leagues/tournaments have more to do with the overall lack of talent in American pool, but it doesn't explain why we always get our asses kicked in this event.
Every player on team US spends the majority of their time playing on big tables.
Forgive me, that's not the final table and it actually looks like Nick already busted. However, another former pool player (Daniel Negreanu), is currently 3/22 in chips.
