Pretty sure Accu-Stats has a couple of videos of him from some of the tournaments back in the 1980s...I recall watching one of him vs. Mizerak I believe. Probably wouldn't tell you much about his money game but would give you a decent idea of how he shot for sure!

Bingo! I'm in the same boat as you being that I've rarely played BCA since 2015 so probably more than 75% of my past matches aren't used for my Fargo rating. Like you, I'm maybe a 560 or 570 (with about 100 robustness) at the moment but a 7/9 in APA which I've played consistently for 20 years...

Bob Henning's book and his ~16 Reference Shots for 9-ball helped my game improve tremendously. I agree with you Bob that players can play well without books, but in terms of practicing it is the books (or lessons with certified instructors) that can show you what you need to practice in order...

Very good point! One of my favorite things is to observe the habits of some of the old schoolers (The Miz is my absolute favorite to watch at 14.1) versus the new schoolers (Schmidt being the best example). Maybe it's on Accu-Stats, but I remember a video of Schmidt from about 20 years ago...

Interesting that they opened so close to Garage, which also has quite a few 9-foot tables if I remember correctly (although nowhere near what Ox's quality will be). I'm guessing they're going for a different customer base; anyway, if I ever go back into the office this place isn't that far away...

I know Accu Stats used to have a Buddy Hall instructional on their site that I really enjoyed; can't seem to find it on the new Vimeo setup though, so not sure if they still have it for rent/purchase. Aside from that though, any of his Accu Stats matches that you can get your hands on are worth...

Stan Shuffet recommended that to me years ago, and it helped me tremendously - especially the 16 reference shots (can't emphasize this enough!). Practicing and learning those really helped with both my confidence in shot making and understanding how to string patterns together. I think they...
