what happened to the op? hasnt commented since the op. what was the tip that originally came with it? phenolic maybe? I too have a stinger w/wrap and opt'd for the samsara tip when purchased. Its a very solid tip with equal control. Ive not tried the white diamond, so i cant say anything...

did you get it as a 5/16x18 joint or for a viking joint? reason im asking is while both joint styles share a 5/16x18 thread bolt, the viking has a slightly larger shaft-to-butt diameter.
