I’m realizing after 60 years of playing this game that I can accomplish a lot using centerball with regards to shot making and position. Has anyone determined how much centerball you use in a match?

Don’t laugh. I ran into a player years ago who played with a one piece cue and carried it around in pvc with a screw cap on both ends and a leather handle to carry it.
To make a spot shot without fail assuming you know where to position the cue ball. That’s why and when center ball is used. It’s used in three cushion often.

I only have back issues when practicing. You are constantly bent over the table. I found when practicing I have to take short breaks. Playing a match does not present a problem for me. I’m 77 and 6’3”. Not overweight. Probably age related as wel.
Patience and know how to avoid matching up with the ‘floor walkers’ who have to circle the table for eternity before shooting. everyone knows who they are. Sharking.
The only aspect of the game that millennials can’t grasp is you have to engage your brain. Seems to be a hurdle for them since you have to set Facebook, TikTok, X and the rest of social media aside. If I appear cynical about it, I am.
