Not trying to argue here but I get the sense that my point is being missed. I am not asking for a entire cue, I am just wanting a butt end. Like I mentioned earlier the pin will be made so the maker does not need anything more than the existing tooling he has.

I hear what you are saying. Not being a Cue maker or machinist, or a Cue maker just out my door I figured this would be the easiest way. This shaft is my main cue and I really do not want to have to ship it out to change the threads or having to order a special tap. But what do I know......😧😧

This is my scenario. I have a Cuetech Cynergy shaft that is the 3/8x14. Now in doing all my reading/research it is undersized. From what I have found I can order a undersized tap for Cuetech 3/8x14. The issue is the pin. They are not available. The reason for this is I want a custom butt...
