I reached out to Loontjens in the Netherlands to replace the same pockets, the shipping was pricey so I ordered a backup set for later down the road.

Grab an allen wrench and move the pocket behind the rail. The little indent is for the pocket, if it doesn't want to go into position it may need to be trimmed a bit.

Why not have A.E. Schmidt perform the service? They are in the area and did manufacture your table.

I may be a little biased since I am a dealer but I think it is built very well for that style of pool table. I have sold dozens of these tables without an issue, given the construction they are easy to level and play pretty good given the price point.

The cloth is most likely manufactured overseas, we have not had a good history with it and we personally do not recommend it to our customers.

This is an AMF by name only, this is a low end non slate pool table made well after AMF went out of business.

You've already spent your money, there's no need in regretting the decision, just make the best of it. I am in no way a fan of the tables, but with better cushions and cloth it will definitely play better and not play so slow. Go with the Artemis cushions though, you won't be disappointed.

Being a Connelly dealer I can tell you, with certainty, that is a Connelly table. You can order a table without the nameplate and it is done regularly, the table doesn't lose any value because there is not a nameplate.

When slate is shipped from any manufacturer of tables they ship the slate flat sitting on a pallet.

That looks like a Brunswick Monticello, if the bid of $1,600 on govdeals is correct that is incredibly high for that table.
