I said to my son Johnny right let's take Celtic & you pick 2 teams from the EPL & 2 from The Championship & 2 from elsewhere.So it came in & all 7 teams won so the cash got spent on food.
Meanwhile Barry Hearn's Leyton Orient win streak came to an end & helped to bust that coupon & they drew their next match but they still top their league.

I stuck with Phil but he's only 14/1 this time so it was onto some outsiders & Keegan Bradley & Matt Kuchar @ 33/1. I thought Nick Watney was worth a go @ 100/1 & a patriotic punt on fellow Scotsman Martin Laird @ 150/1 & a mug punt on Kevin Chappell @ 200/1.This time my bets are with the Kaiser himself ... William Hill & its E/W the 1st 6 places so heres hoping. Fingers crossed.

I like the Greyhound racing & I love a wee bet on the big races but just for a change instead of betting a dog outright to win , I went a quid e/w on four dogs.My 1st selection to crash out was Farloe Warhawk & my next selection to crash out was The Scottish Derby winner Ballymac Eske & it was last in it's semi final but I had 2 dogs in the final & I was full of hope & I had T2 Droopys Jet & T3 Ballymac Vic @ ante post prices but here is how the Final panned out :

Have a guess who I bet ? Yeah , I was on Uruguay & when Diego Forlan missed that penalty in the 1st half...Jeez...Then Brazil go 1-0 up just before half time...Then Uruguay step it up & it's 1-1 just after half time & my bets have a chance but with 5 minutes to go Brazil score & £3 worth of bets go up in smoke ! Jeez , Who would be a punter ? = Me ! Better luck next time !

Over here most bookies are going 1/4 the odds a place for the first six.
The bookies know that this event is a punters nightmare & last time I looked a bookie went 1/4 odds first 7 places so what does that tell you all ? Remember that day 1 is a weatherstorm !

I sent the instructions off to my so to try Phil/Westwood/Furyk & Cabrerra , when I heard about the 1st day weatherstorms I thought I can reduce the stakes or wait until the 2nd or 3rd round for a wee bet so I thought reduce the stakes to 4 x 50p e/w. when the storms clear I can always have another go if they aint in contention !
