I’ll second this. I had all my shafts switched over to Thoroughbred Medium Hard. Was previously using Kamui black, but it kept glazing over. And I had a Caiden fighter tip but found it was too elastic for my liking.

If you’re okay to wait a few months you could always just order one directly from JB cases and have it made exactly how you like.

Nice! McDermott does an excellent job and go above and beyond. They refinished and turned down the original shaft (used to be 13.5mm) to my g-core specs at no extra charge. I also requested to leave off the G-core logo on the shaft and they initially said no, but to my surprise ended up doing it...

Just wanted to share my Amos cue that arrived this weekend. I purchased it back in January and had it sent to McDermott for a full refinish and stained Dark American Cherry. I also added a black nylon wrap and a matching G core shaft to go with it too. It looks and plays great!
