Porper Cases Joe makes a good case and I've had a few. I do like the Giuseppe cases a little better because I can put cues and shafts in joint first. Plus, they seem to accomodate a bit longer cue or one with joint protectors. I've had a 2 X 4 Giuseppe for seven years and it's been great...

Tip scuffers? I've been using a dime sized Willards shaper that Jim Willard gave me at a BCA Trade Show, probably 20 years ago. It works great, I just clean it with an old toothbrush. If I just want to scuff up a very hard tip, I use these little sanding pads that you can buy at hobby stores...
