I am changing felt soon and need new facings. what’s the best facings to make the table play tougher? I saw an add for “pro pockets” where you can place it over the cushion but has anyone ever installed them underneath the felt for permanent use?

I have a couple of Schon R series with their original tips on their perspective shafts. The closest thing to emulate these tips IMO are Triangle tips. Does anyone know what tips Bob "originally" installed when he was with Schon back in the 80's per chance? I only know they weren't layered tips...
