If anyone is interested I have some fresh cut 1970's Westinghouse (Yellow Paper) Micarta ferrules... (NO Asbestos)
Solid 14mm x 1.00"... just under 5 grams.
(13.5mm and 13mm also available if wanted as well as 6" rods PM for details and pricing)
Just cut these ones last weekend! Color will turn golden yellow with age see photos for color reference compared to other materials.
$40 each, $150 for 4, or $350 for 10
This one is just for color reference to some of today's materials...
Test results are back and as I suspected there are NO asbestos
