    A Rare Sight

Ask any of the cuemakers who put cues in the Smithsonian "Exhibit" how that went. The cues were never put on display and never seen again. Is what happened to most.

    Window help

Most any good auto clear coat buffing compound/material (not wax) will bring it crystal clear after sanding to 3000 grit. Same goes for the outside with no clear coat needed.

    Atlas metal lathe woes

I built cues on one for a few years and the steady rest method is actually more accurate than going through the headstock if your steady rest bearing bushings are concentric.

Cue Maker Out of Business in El Paso. Equipment and Supplies Auction

I have a box each of 8 of the latest tips from the 90's or early 2000s. I also have three boxes of Champion tips I have had since the 1980s. One plastic box has 1985 penned on it. Below are pictures of two of the boxes. Notice the wording around the BB on the older cardboard box. "Marque...

It could be Better Billiards is the company that took over the manufacturing of the tips. I seem to remember that the BB brand goes back many decades. Something like a hundred years or more. The Brenner and Brocqut name popped up a few times when doing searches, but there is pretty much Zero...
