Everything checked out other than the pin. My tap is perfectly fine for everything I have done in radial. It's the pin that Eugene Ivantsov uses and Dale Perry's chinese ebay stuff. I guess there is a American and a chinese radial!?

Worked out perfectly with patience

This is why I kept a temp gun pointed at the base of the shaft and kept reading. Starting at 100° and just went in 25 to 50° intervals until the insert broke loose that back up slow

Well I can say the brass reacted well.

I just kept a temp gun pointed at it and tried it at °100 then °175 then at °220 it broke loose and I was able to back it out.

Sure, it worked great.

I took my time and got it right.

The cue is a bk3 so it has a carbon end at the joint. I thought he had the older ones that are wood. Anything much different from the wood ones I should watch out for?
