    A regretful situation

the proof is in the pudding What keeps surprising me in this thread is how loosely things are labeled as "proof" to damage someone's reputation. So far, the only things I've seen are someone's statement about what his girlfriend told a cue maker while he wasn't present. The other "proof" is two...

Who makes STIFF hitting cues ??? Mike Bender ???

I'd say that if you want a really stiff hit, you should consider a full splice cue. Examples include Whisler, Blackcreek, Komarov... While taper and tip can make a big difference, I find that on balance full splices will give you a much stiffer hit due to the more direct transmission of force.

Two Cues - Ebony, Cococolo, Amboyna burl, the Rare Horn Etc.

I'm no expert on this, but from my email conversations with DBK I gather that these are actually 4 and 6-point _full-splice_ cues - that would explain that the points are directly adjacent, right? In any event stunning cues!

Are raffles legal in the US?

just to reply to your question: the social gambling exception will not apply, as point 3 of the section your link references reads: "Gambling is conducted 'as a business' when it is engaged in with the object of gain, benefit or advantage, either direct or indirect, realized or unrealized, but...
