Hit is definitely subjective and everyone has a preference for sure. I have liked wood to wood big pin cues but at times have liked the hit of a SS jointed cue.
Definitely what I have noticed. When I talk pool cues with the younger guys they dont know anything about classic cues. They do know about carbon fiber and low deflection. 😂

Very rare to find one with a Gus forearm. Over 20 years ago I sold one to Chris the Palmer Collector that had a Gus forearm but it was a rare model 16. What a gem of cue.

After running a pool room for years I realized the masses could care less about 9 foot tables. Your fun casuals who spend money are use to bar tables and its easier for them to make balls which is more fun for them. Put them on a tight 9 foot and one game might take 30 minutes.

P.S. They are definitely poolrooms and Main probably has the best equipment. With the college kids and sheer volume, our tables take a beating but they are still in good playable shape.
