Anybody know how to remove marker from Simonis? My son took a dry erase marker and made a circle - see photo in comment below. I put some rubbing alcohol on a microfiber cloth and dabbed it several times, which helped fade it about 50% but it's still there.

I've played on new cloth many times and I've never noticed any difference in deflection. I didn't even know this was a thing until now.

I saw a Facebook post today from Oscar mentioning how deflection is exaggerated at the Mosconi Cup due to the new slick cloth. I've never heard of this before. Can anyone explain what's going on here? I guess I don't understand how cloth can affect the amount of deflection.

I think we've all had this happen to us at point or another. I figure it's just a bad roll based on poor contact (skid) or some imperfections/dirt on the cloth, cushion, or balls.

Every rule set is a little different, but in pretty much all rule sets, if you accidently move a ball while you have BIH, it's a foul.
