Removal of Dry Erase Marker from Simonis Cloth?

He’ll be 3 in April. He doesn’t really know any better so there wasn’t much use getting upset. It sucks but it couldve been much worse. I was playing darts the night before and left the marker out so it’s partially my fault. My wife also should have been keeping an eye on him while I was...

Removal of Dry Erase Marker from Simonis Cloth?

Anybody know how to remove marker from Simonis? My son took a dry erase marker and made a circle - see photo in comment below. I put some rubbing alcohol on a microfiber cloth and dabbed it several times, which helped fade it about 50% but it's still there.

Extra Deflection on Mosconi Cup Table??

Well, Nathan Wallace is a very strong player (731 fargo) and Oscar is obviously a pro. Are you claiming they are delusional?

Extra Deflection on Mosconi Cup Table??

I've played on new cloth many times and I've never noticed any difference in deflection. I didn't even know this was a thing until now.

Extra Deflection on Mosconi Cup Table??

I saw a Facebook post today from Oscar mentioning how deflection is exaggerated at the Mosconi Cup due to the new slick cloth. I've never heard of this before. Can anyone explain what's going on here? I guess I don't understand how cloth can affect the amount of deflection.

Fargo Rate - Fair Race Calculator

Isn't there a fair race calculator online somewhere based on Fargo ratings? Please post a link if possible. I'm trying to figure out what the even race would be for the following matches: 638 vs 541 638 vs 597 638 vs 647 638 vs 663 638 vs 732 638 vs 743

Paging Dr. Dave! How did this scratch?

I think we've all had this happen to us at point or another. I figure it's just a bad roll based on poor contact (skid) or some imperfections/dirt on the cloth, cushion, or balls.

    Rule question

Every rule set is a little different, but in pretty much all rule sets, if you accidently move a ball while you have BIH, it's a foul.

Quick question about Cut Induced Throw

There's no curve involved. CIT (cut induced throw) is just a result of friction. Think of friction like glue. Imagine you took the cue ball and object ball and completely covered them in the strongest glue you could find. Now play an extremely slow shot. When the balls impact with each...

    Bride arm tension?

I've experimented with this a lot and you should really try to release all tension in your bridge hand. Actually try not to hold any tension anywhere in your body. I know it's practically impossible but the less tension you have the more relaxed you will be and the easier the game becomes.

    (Un)Popular Opinion on Fargo Rate

This post is absolutely ridiculous. The big takeaway is that you've been delusional for your whole life and now fargo's statistics are debunking all of your absurd delusions. Of course 90%+ of all players in an open tourney are dead money. Of course a ball pocket expert is huge favorite over...

what causes so many shots to hang

It's definitely the pocket angles. Brunswicks are generally 50+ year old commercial tables which have taken a lot of abuse. Over time, the subrail wood behind the pocket facings starts to deteriorate which creates a wider pocket angle. The wider pocket angle rebounds the object ball into the...
