No reason. I just have the switch and I would like to use it.
Thanks dchristal for the instructions and cueman for the verification. I will try to do the connections tonight.
Here's my current setup. The motor came pre-wired with only an On-off switch. I've attached pictures so you guys can clearly see the current wiring and what I would like to do.
On the motor, I have "yellow" connected to "4" and "blue" connected to "1". It also has a "blue wire" that connects to...
The switch came with a 3 page manual with several different diagrams but the closest I can find to my setup is attached. So from what you are saying, row 2 would be line 1 and row 3 will be line 2, correct? So what's row 1 used for? This diagram is also using 1, 2 and 4 on the motor besides the...
Thanks WilleeCue. I'll take a pic of the switch tonight but here's the specs of it:

Basically, it has 9 contacts at the bottom instead of 6.
I also have a couple of on-off-on switches I got from Radio shack with 6 contacts. Will these work?

by the way, I...
Very good points Mr. Arnot. I am a "newbie" cuemaker compared to most cuemakers here and I have learned a lot of techniques from the information shared by experienced makers here at the "Ask the Cuemaker" forum. You have good points about how this forum for cuemakers should work and if AZB...
Thanks... that's what I thought but I guess the hard part is finding the end of the wrap.
There is a loose part in the middle of the wrap area and that is why I am taking it off and putting it back in. It is just a cheap cue so I figure I might as well learn how to do it.
I've search the forums but could not find any discussions about this - If I want to re-use the linen wrap, how can I remove it without cutting anything off? I've got a couple of test cues that I can experiment on but I would like to get the experts opinions so I can try to avoid any of the...
