I have sanded plenty of different carbon shafts, the Cynergy is the most finicky, you will get to the solid black shinny inner wall very fast, I don't recommend it just food for thought.

No this is the off white looking stuff, lightest material out there I know of and super strong. Jacoby uses it on their carbon and ld shafts.

Hydex 202 is amazing on my carbon tiger Fortis shaft, I can't speak for how it hits on wood but Im sure it hits pretty good.
