I align the cue ball and object ball straight into the first diamond by the intended pocket then aim at edge of object ball with a center hit on the cue ball.
I believe it would be more strategic as long as the 2-way shot is called and only can be called on bank shots to bring an element of creativity to add to the entertainment value.
