i feel your pain. i have has ambloypia and stabismis since i was born and the surgeries i have had didnt accomplish much but to keep my eyes from going lazy when i get tired. i have been learning to compensate for my visual handicap but it makes the accomplishments that much more rewarding.
this device would need to be ver complex. just an example...how would it recognize english put on the cueball? too many variables to make this a viable tool. as a wise man said, "practice, practice; practice..."

I will often skid the cueball for similiar results. it seems to create a natural throw, so-to-speak. this also is useful when backcutting when the object ball and cueball are close to the pocket and its troublesome to go around the table caroming off rails. hope my descriptions are clear.
