I don't agree with you, Mr3Cushion. The fact that tables are "Twice as long as wide" do not play any role in the Diamond system formula. For example, in the shot below, only three cushions are affected; the position of the small cushion on the right is irrelevant.

The "Diamond System" is well-known to 3-Cushion and Pool players. Even though it requires adjustments that fine players apply, it is widely used. But where does it come from? When was it developed? In which country? By whom? How can it be justified? "A Geometric Analysis of the Diamond System"...
