Now this may be so, but for a layered tip it doesn't matter at all. Even if it's slightly pre-crowned. And you were talking about layered tips. The end result is 100% equal if you install it slightly off-center or perfectly centered.

Maybe a clear G10 ferrule? Would make sense for a breaker. I'd also be interested in a sharper picture :thumbup:

I think a whippy shaft bends during an off-center hit, thus hitting the cue ball (slightly) even more off-center, resulting in slightly more spin on the cue ball.
