The only sneaky pete that looks like a house cue is a house cue. Nobody that can play is fooled by "sneaky petes". If you want to look like you don't know what you are doing get a purple Cuetec or gaudy Walmart cue. And after a rack or two you aren't fooling anybody :)
Predator, Cuetec, Mezz and others make cues as good or better than 95% of the customs. They are available now, without drama, stalls, delays and fraud. And CF came along. I wouldn't do the custom cue thing for all the tea in China :)
Unless you have super cheap rent and lots of folks around with some money it's hard. Of two rooms I know of that are doing great, one makes it all on the bar biz and the other is in a college/tourist town and is just a great place to be in.
Missing the point, IMO. When you are good and make a living with it, there is no upside in sharing. That said, get the basics and put in the time.
SVB shares how he lines up on the shots. Him telling you and you actually doing it consistently and well are two different things. Takes time.
Worth original wholesale less 30%. Why buy no warranty old cues that might have problems when dealers can buy new cues from McDermott with a warranty at wholesale ? and a dealer is the guy to buy these.
If you bought it to flip, flip it now. The heat will go out in a few months, that's if they really are selling for $1200 on the 'bay. McDermott and Chops can make more of 'em :-) Not a lot of tiny had work involved.
