Maybe a collector pays up, but for intrinsic value 200-400. The cue world has moved on. CF shafts, Predator etc. $1900 in 1991 ?? That's like $10,000 in today's dollars. I can't imagine players lined up to buy it.. Good Luck.
Yes, on a trip to Australia, played with a very crooked snooker house cue and it really didn't matter.
I think it's more in our heads than in actual playing that crooked is bad. So if it's a tiny credit card roll, ignore it.
World class pro snooker players make far more money. That tells you where talent is. Last year, the top 10 snooker players earned form about $400K to Ronnie making about $1.3 milllions. Ronnie's lifetime earnings are over $18,000,000.

Not the ones I have had. can't dent 'em. can't break 'em. well finished. If a Cuetec falls on to a chair the chair gets hurt :-) Millions $$$$ made with Cuetec cues. Probably the most money making cue out there. That should be all you need to know.
I don't think it matters if for home use only. If you play league or tournaments, best to practice on what you play league on. Get a 7 ft Valley and have fun with it.
Just to make clear, I prefer REBCO 7ft tables to 7ft Diamonds. And the good part is they are 1/2 the price of a Diamond. That said if you play league or tournaments on Diamonds, better practice on one. I like 9 ft REBCO tables also. Bob makes a great table, IMO.
