APA yes, big cue balls, no. The side pockets also reject clean shots with even medium force, but I can live with that. Now I'm stumped. Our LO is sticking to his guns and says that's just how they play. All the valleys in our area, not just this venue, even right after table maintenance. It's blowing me away.

Hmm, as I understand it, less than 20 players in the world have a Fargo over 800. Yet averaging an .800 TPA won't win most pro tournaments these days - if any.

First, yes, I know. TPA applies to a match, Fargo applies to overall results over time. And TPA doesn't take an opponent's skill into account. But I'm curious. If someone maintains an 'average' TPA of .800 (what used to be called world-class), what might their equivalent Fargo be?

This will be my first time there. Anyone know if they rack normally, or 9 on the spot? I see they are using the break box. Racking on the spot would certainly change how I practice though. Anyone know?
